Air-Liner – The Puncture Solution for Gravel & Cyclocross Tires
Vittoria's portfolio of tire inserts continues to grow and is now even lighter with the Light version of the Air-Liner Gravel. And this without compromising the main function of protecting tires and wheels from impacts in the best possible way. This is achieved by the inserts made of high-density polymer foam forming a robust barrier between the rim and tire – for unparalleled protection against punctures, sidewall cuts and crushing.

The Gravel version is not only based on the models developed for mountain bikes, but is also in no way inferior to the originals in terms of efficiency and stability. Thanks to increased resistance at the moment of compression, every impact is absorbed, preventing damage to the tire and rim. In addition, the puncture protection allows riding with lower air pressures, which not only increases the tire's grip, but also its ability to adapt to the bumps and obstacles typical of off-road tracks. The vibrations caused by off-road rolling are in turn minimized, resulting in a smoother and less tiring ride. Last but not least, the Air-Liner Light Gravel also acts as a sidewall reinforcement, which not only guarantees a tight fit of the tire bead on the rim, but also provides more grip when cornering.


Properties of the Air-Liner Light tire inserts:

high speed: no impairment of the tire's rolling characteristics, insert forms a rim seal under air pressure to protect against heavy impacts
lateral stability: support of the tire sidewalls under load for cornering at full speed, increased protection of the tire sidewalls against cuts and punctures

Installation instructions: The insert may only be used in conjunction with Tubeless systems and multiway Tubeless valves. The material is compatible with any type of liquid sealant. Use with a tube is not possible.
