The hubs of the 600 and 500 series were developed to better withstand the enormous torques of aggressive Trail Riding. In order to achieve the necessary sealing performance, the corresponding models are equipped with a bearing that features high-quality labyrinth and contact seals. Basically designed for road and light Gravel use, the 12 mm version of the Shimano HB-TC500 front hub also benefits from this feature. In addition, the aluminum hub with Centerlock brake disc mount is characterized by its low weight and high rigidity. |
