How does this work?
The kit is perfect for a Shimano XT 10-speed cassette.
This eliminates both the pinion 15 that 17.
They mount the gears from 40T and 16T and the spacer provided.

To be mounted on the other hand, for example, on a cassette SRAM PG 1030 you have to use a spacer 1.4 mm (not supplied) instead of the one supplied 0.8 mm. In order to be fully functional with other models of the box, you only need to use a spacer of appropriate thickness between 36 and 40.
